What COURSEHERO has to offer?
Coursehero is paying back by giving back following offers to the student community
Scholarships for Students
Helping students and teachers goes beyond giving them access to online study and class materials, tutoring, and a community of teachers. We know how hard it can be for students to get to graduation feeling confident and ready. The Hero Student Scholarship is given to students who have gotten through tough times on their way to college. We give them $5,000 a year until they finish school. We also have scholarships for veterans, community leaders, and people who are the first in their families to go to college.
College Grit – How to Get Through College
The College Grit program is a way for students to be recognized and helped for the everyday challenges they face and overcome on their way to graduation. Students are encouraged to tell their stories of grit, no matter how big or small, and are rewarded for their bravery, strength, and creativity. Many students are finding it harder than ever to graduate, and COVID-19 has only made it harder for the new majority of students who work while in school, have children or someone who depends on them, or don’t know where their next meal will come from. As students move toward graduation, it is important that they feel supported and encouraged.
Help for emergencies
Students and teachers were already under a lot of stress before the Covid-19 pandemic hit. Course Hero put up $500,000 for a Student Emergency Aid Initiative to help students and teachers during this uncertain time. Students filled out applications to get money to help with their immediate needs. We also gave students and teachers access to resources for learning and teaching through our document library and set up peer reviews for teachers who wanted feedback on how they did remote teaching.
